1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website at supersonik.co (the “Website”) and the Supersonik music-management platform, including the web application and any future mobile application (the “Platform”), provided by CIPHER COLLECTIVE EVENTS L.L.C, Licence No. 1599750 with its registered office at B2007, 20th floor, East Wing, Latifa Towers, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai (“Supersonik”, “we”, “us”).
By accessing the Website or Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, hotel group or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” includes that organisation.
Platform access is provided to business customers under a signed service agreement, proposal or order form (an “Order”). If an Order conflicts with these Terms, the Order prevails for that customer.
The Platform is intended for business use only. It is not offered to consumers or to individuals under 18.

3. The Services
What Supersonik provides. Supersonik provides sonic branding and music consultancy, playlist curation, discovery and audit services, licensing coordination support, and a Platform for managing music across Properties and Zones, including scheduling, Automation, team access and operational support. The exact scope for each Customer is set out in its Order.
Music is provided by the Music Provider. The music catalogue, streaming and playback are provided by the Music Provider, not by Supersonik. Supersonik is a management and automation layer that connects to the Music Provider through its official API. Supersonik does not own, host, record, relay or redistribute the Music Provider’s audio or catalogue, and nothing in these Terms grants you any right to that content.
Music Provider terms. Your use of the Music Provider’s service is also governed by the Music Provider’s own terms and policies, which you must comply with. Where Supersonik creates or administers a Music Provider account on your behalf, you authorise Supersonik to do so and to act on that account to the extent needed to deliver the services.
Feature availability. Platform features depend on what the Music Provider’s API and partner terms permit at any time. We may change, limit or withdraw features if the Music Provider changes its API, terms or rights-holder restrictions. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
Accounts. Platform accounts are created by Supersonik or by a Customer’s administrator. You must keep login credentials confidential, use accurate information, and tell us promptly at support@supersonik.co if you suspect unauthorised access. The Customer is responsible for all activity under its Authorised Users’ accounts.
Website enquiry tool. The Website’s enquiry builder creates a brief that downloads to your device. No enquiry is sent to us unless you choose to send it.
4. Your responsibilities
Team access. Customer administrators decide who is invited, which role each Authorised User has, and which Properties and Zones they can access. The Customer is responsible for removing access when a person leaves or no longer needs it.
Acceptable use. You must not, and must not allow anyone to:
- access another customer’s data, Properties or Zones, or attempt to bypass access controls or tenant boundaries;
- capture, record, download, rebroadcast or redistribute music played through the Music Provider, or use the Platform to play music outside the Music Provider’s licensed service;
- play music through the Platform in a way that breaches the Music Provider’s terms or the licences applicable to your venue;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Platform or the Music Provider’s API, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written consent;
- upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, including in announcements or messaging;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Platform to third parties other than as allowed in your Order.
Venue operations. You remain responsible for your venues, audio equipment, network connectivity, playback devices and on-site staff. You are responsible for the content and timing of any announcements or messages you configure.
Accuracy of settings. You are responsible for checking that the settings entered into the Platform are correct.
5. Scheduling, automation and third-party services
How Automation works. Automation sends instructions (such as pause, resume or change playlist) to the Music Provider at times calculated in each Property’s local timezone. An action only takes effect if the Music Provider accepts it and the playback device is online.
Prayer times, sunset and Ramadan. Prayer-time and sunset triggers use calculation methods or data from third-party sources, which can differ from local announcements by several minutes. Ramadan and holiday dates depend on the dates you or Supersonik configure. These features support operations; they do not guarantee religious, cultural or regulatory observance, and you should keep a manual fallback for sensitive moments.
Manual override. Authorised Users with the right permissions can override Automation. The Platform shows which rule is active and the outcome of each action; actions shown as pending or failed may not have taken effect.
No guarantee of uninterrupted playback. We aim for reliable automation, but we do not guarantee that every scheduled action will execute on time or at all. Failures can result from Music Provider outages, API limits, device or network issues, or incorrect settings.
Third-party services. The Platform relies on third parties, including the Music Provider, hosting, database and authentication providers, and prayer-time or sunset data sources. We are not responsible for their availability or acts, except where they act as our sub-processors under our Privacy Policy.
6. Music licensing information
Licensing Information and licensing coordination are practical business and operational guidance, not legal advice. Supersonik is not a law firm and does not represent any collective management organisation unless and until that status is officially confirmed and announced.
A Music Provider subscription may not cover every licence your venue needs. Public-performance licences in the UAE, and rights for live events, DJs, advertising, branded video or synchronisation, may be separate. Tariff estimates are indicative; the amount payable is set by the relevant rights organisation.
You remain responsible for obtaining and maintaining the licences your venues require. Where Supersonik provides licence administration, it covers the tasks listed in your Order (such as use classification, document checklists, application coordination and renewal tracking), and excludes legal advice, disputes, audits, historical claims and event-specific permissions.
7. Fees and payment
Fees, billing periods and payment terms are set in your Order. Service fees, Music Provider subscription costs, statutory licence fees and licence administration fees are shown as separate items. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate.
Statutory licence fees are passed through at the amount charged by the relevant rights organisation, without markup, unless your Order says otherwise.
We may suspend Platform access for invoices more than 30 days overdue, after written notice. Suspension may also affect the Music Provider account where Supersonik administers it.
8. Intellectual property
Supersonik Materials belong to Supersonik or its licensors. Subject to your Order and these Terms, the Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its own venues during the term.
Sound profiles, music strategies and playlist curation created for a Customer may be used by that Customer during the term. Ownership of underlying recordings and compositions stays with their rights holders.
The Music Provider’s name, logos and content belong to the Music Provider and are shown in line with its brand guidelines.
If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
9. Customer Data and privacy
The Customer owns its Customer Data and grants Supersonik the rights needed to host, process and transmit it to provide, secure and support the services.
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on a Customer’s behalf, the data processing terms in the Order apply.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide the services with reasonable skill and care.
Except as stated in these Terms or an Order, the Website and Platform are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, and that use of the services will achieve regulatory compliance.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, revenue or goodwill, or loss arising from Music Provider outages or third-party data sources.
Each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the fees paid or payable by the Customer to Supersonik in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access immediately if needed to prevent harm to the Platform, other customers or the Music Provider, or if required by the Music Provider or by law.
Either party may terminate as set out in the Order, or immediately on written notice if the other materially breaches these Terms and does not cure the breach within 30 days.
On termination, Platform access ends. We will make Customer Data available for export for 30 days on request, then delete or anonymise it as set out in the Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention duties. The handling of any Music Provider account Supersonik administers will follow the Order and the Music Provider’s terms.
13. General
Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with its effective date and, for material changes, notify Customer administrators at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after that date means acceptance.
Governing law and disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Dubai.
Other terms. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
